Miami gets ready to party with a purpose as Flo Rida takes the stage at the Give Miami 5K + Festival on November 15, bringing music, movement and philanthropy together in support of South Florida’s nonprofit community.

There are few things Miami does better than bringing people together, and this November, The Miami Foundation is giving the city another reason to show up for one another.

The Give Miami 5K: Race + Festival returns Sunday, November 15, 2026, at Maurice A. Ferré Park, kicking off the celebration leading into the 15th anniversary of Give Miami Day. This year, the community event gets an unmistakably Miami soundtrack with a live performance from Flo Rida.

The Miami-born, internationally recognized recording artist will headline the festival, with his performance scheduled for 10 a.m.

But the biggest story isn't simply who's taking the stage.

It's why everyone is gathering.

Running for Something Bigger

The Give Miami 5K transforms the traditional race experience into an opportunity for participants to directly support the causes that matter to them.

According to The Miami Foundation, 100% of each race registration fee goes directly to the nonprofit organization or issue area selected by the participant. Thousands of supporters are expected to run, walk and celebrate while representing causes throughout Greater Miami.

It's a model that makes participation itself an act of giving.

Following the race, the celebration continues with a free community festival featuring Flo Rida's live performance alongside DJs, food trucks, nonprofit activations and family-friendly experiences.

For Miami, it's philanthropy with a little more rhythm.

Building Momentum for Give Miami Day

The November 15 event also serves as a kickoff to one of South Florida's most significant annual philanthropic moments: Give Miami Day, taking place November 19.

Hosted by The Miami Foundation, Give Miami Day has grown considerably since its launch in 2012. In 2025 alone, more than 60,000 donors contributed over $43 million to support more than 1,400 nonprofits. The Foundation describes the initiative as the country's largest single-city giving day. The 5K extends that mission beyond online giving and into an in-person community experience.

Its inaugural 2025 edition drew more than 2,600 runners who generated over $135,000 in support of more than 300 nonprofits through race participation. Combined community efforts leading up to and during the event generated more than $883,000 for Miami nonprofits, according to The Miami Foundation.

Now, the organization is preparing to make the 2026 celebration even bigger.
