The Flamingo Brunch: Celebrating Women

On March 9th, 2024, we celebrated Women’s History Month and International Women’s Day in an exceptional manner through a collaborative event with Moda North Bay Village, Uncle Nearest, and Vie De Rêve Sparkling.

The Flamingo Brunch was designed to honor and pay tribute to the inspiring women making significant contributions to their communities and various professional fields. The event was marked by an array of activities that celebrated female empowerment and achievements.

Guests were treated to a delightful multi-course brunch curated by the talented Chef Ra’sheed Virgin, who

showcased his culinary expertise with each dish. The dining experience was complemented by expertly crafted cocktails prepared by Master Mixologist Kie, offering a distinctive cocktail experience that delighted the senses.

Adding to the ambiance, tunes from DJ Chris set a lively and celebratory mood, while giveaways added an element of surprise and excitement for the attendees.

The event also featured live art by Cherish the Artist, providing guests with the opportunity to witness art in creation, adding a dynamic and interactive element to the celebration.

Additionally, an art exhibition by Danielle Hudson allowed guests to immerse themselves in the visual storytelling of women's achievements and struggles, further enriching the event's thematic focus.

But the afternoon was more than just entertainment and art. It was also a chance for attendees to network and connect with other like-minded individuals, sharing ideas, insights, and experiences. Special guests like Zahdonna Clark spoke on the importance of ownership and her journey as a beauty entrepreneur.

Overall, the event was a celebration of empowerment, artistry, and community coming together to create positive change. It showed that when we support each other and come together as a collective force, amazing things can be achieved.

The intimate and immersive experience was the perfect platform for storytelling and highlighting the achievements of the featured women and attendees.
