Glenneisha “G” Darkins—an artist, disability advocate, and author whose bold and emotionally charged work has gone viral across social platforms—is set to launch her first-ever official website next week, marking a pivotal moment in her growing creative legacy.
Darkins, who paints exclusively using her mouth following a life-altering spinal cord injury at age 19, has amassed a loyal following through her raw storytelling, viral videos, and unapologetically honest art.
Her work, which blends symbolism, identity, and healing, has been featured at major exhibitions including during Art Basel --- LVMH in partnership with Moët Hennessy USA, LVMH Culture House and has drawn attention from celebrity collectors, city leaders, and cultural curators alike.
“This site is a new chapter, more than a place to buy art..it’s a home for my story and a space where healing has a voice, " says Darkins.
Art That Defies Convention
Darkins’ rise is rooted in her ability to transform personal pain into public power.
Her videos often showing the painting process from the lens of adaptive creativity have earned thousands of views and captured hearts across communities.
Painting without the use of her hands, she delivers visually striking work that bridges the gap between resilience and representation, often pairing her pieces with messages about trauma, recovery, and the power of creative freedom.
Her work is not only art—it is advocacy.
What’s to Come
The new digital platform will include:
A curated gallery of fine art prints
Limited-edition merchandise aligned with her latest campaign
Exclusive access to future collaborations and events & more
The site will also serve as a long-term destination for press, collectors, and supporters seeking to experience G’s work in a more immersive and accessible format.
A Digital Space That Speaks
According to a 2023 report by the Disability & Philanthropy Forum, only 4% of all art institution programming in the U.S. includes disability-centered narratives. Meanwhile, a recent Harvard Business Review study (2024) shows that 78% of consumers are more likely to support brands aligned with social purpose and authentic lived experience. Darkins represents both.
Her upcoming platform is positioned to fill a cultural gap at the intersection of art, identity, and advocacy—especially for creators whose stories are too often excluded from gallery walls and mainstream platforms.
About the Artist
Born and raised in Miami, FL, “G” Darkins is a self-taught visual artist, public speaker, and mental health advocate. After surviving a spinal cord injury at 19, she began painting with her mouth as both a meditative practice and a form of reclamation. Today, she uses her platform to promote healing, disability visibility, and the transformative power of creative expression.
