Legacy Builders Feature South, FL's Cherish the Artist at Juneteenth Celebration

In honor of Juneteenth Builders of Legacy will spotlight the powerful work of South Florida-based artist Cherish during a special community engagement on Thursday, June 19, 2025, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Hollywood Central Performing Arts Center.

Cherish, a multidisciplinary artist known for her evocative visual storytelling, will present some of her latest works and will have select works available for sale. Her work explores themes of liberation, identity, and healing making her a natural fit for an evening that celebrates Black freedom and queer visibility.

The Juneteenth Celebration follows an inspiring kick-off at Hunters Wilton Manors and aims to empower Black creatives through community support and economic opportunity. This initiative by Builders of Legacy creates a platform for artists like Cherish to connect with new audiences and be celebrated for their contributions to culture and conversation.
