From a hot girl summer to a hot girl fall, a determined woman call do it all.
Atlanta pro makeup artist Nico Johnson (also known as Nico Dymynd) is having a hot girl year. From selling out her makeup classes to working on the sets of movies and videos Nico has been on fire, literally. To add to her recent success, she was hired as one of the makeup artists for Megan The Stallion’s new Youtube series, Hottiween featuring Megan the Stallion, Dave East, and comedian Jay Cole. Teyana Taylor directed the project and it was produced by her production company, The Aunties Inc. The first episode premiered Tuesday, October 29, 2019, on Youtube.
“ I just feel blessed to have been able to be apart of such a creative process,” said Nico. “The cast was amazing and I’m so grateful that I was was chosen for the glam team. Six months ago I was worried about where I would provide my services after the boutique I was working at closed down. With prayer, determination, and a great support system I continued to push forward and here we are.”
Nico is based in Atlanta, Ga and specializes in professional makeup artistry, hair, and lashes. Her artistry portfolio includes a variety of reality stars, wedding parties, musicians, and entrepreneurs. Nico got her start in Tallahassee, Fl doing makeup, hair, and lashes while attending Florida A & M University. She then moved back to Atlanta, Ga to pursue her dreams where she worked at Mac, freelanced at a makeup boutique, and then ventured out on her own. She even negotiated a contract to work as the lead makeup and hairstylist for a local business that provided professional school photos for seniors. Nico is the epitome of a determined woman and seeks to inspire others to go after their dreams.
